Jess Murphy arrived from New Zealand. Dave Murphy came from Carlow. In 2011, standing in what used to be a flower shop, they opened a door and never looked back.
Kai — the Māori word for food — was their statement of intent. High-quality produce, preferably organic or wild, sourced locally and cooked intelligently. No theatrics. No unnecessary flourishes. Just food that tastes like where it came from.
